Makafui Aku Tawiah is a strategic finance professional with a strong foundation in accounting, financial planning, and risk management. Holding a BSc in Administration (Banking and Finance), and having recently completed an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Ghana, Legon, she brings a wealth of expertise to CK TUFTING ARTS and CRAFTS.

As Finance Manager, Makafui plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the company. Her responsibilities include:

  • Developing financial strategies that align with CK TUFTING ARTS and CRAFTS’ growth objectives.

  • Overseeing budgeting processes, tracking expenses, and optimizing cost-effectiveness.

  • Managing payroll operations, ensuring timely and automated salary payments.

  • Coordinating banking operations, including mobile money integration for seamless transactions.

  • Conducting financial forecasting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and mitigating financial risks.

  • Leading finance and operations teams, fostering collaboration for organizational success.

Makafui’s experience extends beyond corporate finance—she volunteers as Treasurer at Hope Restoration Network Ghana, a nonprofit organization where she ensures financial compliance and stability. Her tenure at the Ghana Audit Service strengthened her expertise in external audits, while her work at AirtelTigo Ghana refined her ability to enhance digital communication strategies.

Beyond finance, Makafui is deeply passionate about volunteering, finding fulfillment in helping others, and creating positive change. She enjoys video and mobile games, particularly puzzle-solving and simulation games. Her curiosity for data analysis fuels her interest in uncovering meaningful insights from financial and operational data.
